Ivory Coast - Mali
Tip : 1
Odd : 1.90
FT : ??
Ivory Coast will go into this match without Gervinho. He has been banned for the last two group matches after his sending off against Guinea last time out. Seydou Doumbia could be the man to replace him having scored from the bench in the last game. Wilfried Bony lacked a spark in that match but the Ivorians will be looking to him to provide them with more of a threat through the middle.
Mali picked up a creditable draw against Cameroon in their opening match but they may have ended up a bit disappointed with that having led until six minutes from the end but it was a solid start to a side who have the personnel to make a difference in this tournament not least Roma midfielder Seydou Keita. Wolves’ forward Bakary Sako will look to impress again after looking a threat against Cameroon down the left flank.
Ivory Coast looked like a team of individuals in their opening match and that is something they will have to overcome but I do still fancy them for this match purely and simply because I think Mali are lacking something in attack. That should suit Ivory Coast as they like to get the full backs forward and with the rest of the options they have in attacking areas they can have too much for Mali.
